Digangana Suryavanshi reacts to rumors of her joining 'Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai'

Star Plus' long-runner Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai (YRKKH) is all set to witness quite a massive development soon indeed. The show, that has already enabled an array of leaps and generational cast changes lasting over 12 years on-air has been in news where it is all set to undergo a leap once again.

This one, however, is especially noteworthy because we reported how there might be a possibility that leading man Mohsin Khan will be exiting the show post leap. This was followed by another report that claimed that leading lady Shivangi Joshi will also not be a part of the show anymore. While there hasn't been any confirmation on that, a couple of days ago, the rumor mill was hit by the news that actor Digangana Suryavanshi, who continues to be best remembered for her role in Veera is all set to make a return to TV and will be seen in YRKKH after the leap.

However, here is some saddening news for the fans of the actor as she has denied being a part of the Rajan Shahi show. Confirming the same to ETimes TV, Suryavanshi said, “I am being offered many TV roles, but right now I have completely shifted my focus towards films. So any news around me entering a daily soap isn’t true at all. All my dates are completely blocked. I am shooting back to back for 4 different films and OTT projects. I am happy to explore the digital medium.”

Further talking about why she left TV, she said, "It is a conscious decision to not do television as I can't keep up with a daily show commitment. Daily soaps require an investment of every single day. I was 18 when I did Bigg Boss. Uske baad I wanted to explore and see how films turn out for me. I feel I have given a good part of my life to television that too at a very young age. Of course I still love TV and I wouldn't have been where I am today if not for television.”

YRKKH or not, the fans of the actor would love to see her working in as many projects as possible.
