Over the last three decades, Zee TV has been instrumental in providing the Indian youth with a global platform to showcase their singing, dancing, and acting talent. The channel's most iconic dance reality show, Dance India Dance, also revolutionized the landscape of dance in the country when it first began to air in 2009. Over the last 13 years, the platform has stood testimonial to the sheer passion and love that India holds in its heart towards dance. After giving the audience a glimpse of this year's mind-blowing talent, Zee TV launched its top-rated reality show for the youngest dancing talent in the country - DID L'il Masters Season 5.
With the Fantastic Finale week beginning, viewers are all set to have a gala time watching the top 5 young dancing sensations put on some incredible acts. While the finalists impressed the judges during the shoot, it was a special surprise that truly grabbed everyone’s attention. After the top 5 kids completed their performances, host Jay Bhanushali invited contestant Ahmed Raja to the stage and gave him a mega present that will change his life forever.
For the uninitiated, Inali Foundation had made a promise to Ahmed a few episodes ago that they would help him get prosthetic limbs, and before the finale episode, the young contestant was given the surprise of his lifetime. After Ahmed’s inspirational journey was showcased through a video on the set, he was presented with his new prosthetic limbs on stage. The young boy was overjoyed as his lifelong dream came true, but it was everyone else who was left speechless. Remo gathered his words and mentioned how DID has given people a platform to achieve their dreams over the past 13 years and once again, the power of dance and the platform was proven in front of one and all!
As Remo D’Souza mentioned, “All of us talk about getting various awards for movies and shows. But I believe everyone, who is present here today and is associated with DID L’il Masters Season 5, will believe that we have succeeded today. I feel today that the power of dance and this platform has been showcased like never before, and there is nothing bigger than that. I am really grateful to Inali Foundation for this. I am sure that these prosthetic limbs have made Ahmed very happy and have given him an opportunity to do the things he has always desired to do.”
Mouni Roy also added, “I really want to thank Inali Foundation, and everyone associated with DID L’il Masters for taking this great initiative. As Remo Sir said, today we have all won, dance has won, DID has won. I believe everything is on one side, and this is on another side. There cannot be a greater award than this.”
While the emotional moment will surely melt everyone’s hearts, wait till you see the extravagant dance performance by all the wonderful contestants during the Fantastic Finale!
