Dia Mirza dubs Neha Dhupia as a strong and fierce woman; the latter completes 20 years as Miss India

Neha Dhupia served on the jury for the Miss India competition on Sunday. As she celebrated 20 years of winning the Miss India title, she was honoured on stage by her parents, Pradip Singh Dhupia and Manpider Dhupia. Later her kids, Mehr and Guriq Bedi, together with her actor husband Angad Bedi, joined her on stage.

Neha Dhupia, a fellow actor, and past beauty pageant winner was lauded by Dia Mirza. While, Neha won Femina Miss India in 2002 and placed among the top 10 finalists at the Miss Universe pageant, Dia won the Miss Asia Pacific International title in 2000.

Dia posted a photo of Neha from the Miss India event that took place in Mumbai on Sunday on her Instagram Stories. Along with the picture, she wrote, “Celebrating 20 years of this fierce, authentic, strong, and beautiful woman.”

Neha attended the event alongside the jury members Malaika Arora, Dino Morea, cricket player Mithali Raj, and others. She graced the red carpet in a powder blue flowy gown with sleeves while wearing the crown on her head. 

Talking about her personal life, Neha Dhupia tied the knot with Angad Bedi in 2018. The couple is blessed with two kids, a three-year-old daughter Mehr, and a nine-month-old son Guriq.

On the work front, Neha Dhupia was last seen in the film A Thursday alongside Yami Gautam. 

Dia Mirza on the other hand is gearing up for her film Dhak Dhak. The actress recently wrapped up the filming of the Taapsee Pannu-backed film. It also features Ratna Pathak Shah, Fatima Sana Shaikh, and Sanjana Sanghi.
