(**** (4/5)) Little Things 4 features Mithila Palkar and Dhruv Sehgal in the lead roles, and the final season of the show takes us on their journey of bigger things in life, a beautiful one at it.

Little Things 4

Little Things 4 is now streaming on Netflix but well, India Forums got hold of the all-new season a bit ahead, and we'd say you don't need any review to tell you to not watch the show. If you are a fan of the show, you know Little Things narrates the story of Dhruv and Kavya, and the escapades that they take together.

6 years of knowing each other and living together, the duo has gone through a series of ups and downs, but what stayed is their love for each other. However, there is no perfect love story, and theirs' isn't one either, but it is close to what most of the stories are about, and in this one, the duo deal with more serious topics, one about their future, one about being more sure of each other, and some more.

Performances

Little Things 4 review

Dhruv and Mithila as Dhruv and Kavya, respectively, have given their best performances. There's something about this duo that makes them more relatable than everyone else, and also as genuine as one could look. 4 seasons into a show, one is likely to take a lot from their characters and also have certain aspects of it in their sub-conscious, and as two people with a great understanding of their roles, it shows on-screen for both Dhruv and Mithila.

While the story centers around the leading duo, everyone else who is a part of this journey has done a good job and that adds to the story beautifully. Right from actors who play their parents, to friends, and even colleagues, everyone has played their part well, making the story complete, and how.

The Good

It is seldom that a show manages to make you fall a bit more in love in its 4th season. While it is not the impossible, it sure is difficult to keep the viewers want to keep coming back to you after 3 whole seasons, but Little Things 4 not only does that, it also makes you want to want more of it when it ends. Knowing that it is the last season is indeed heartbreaking, especially for an absolute fan of the show like me.

Apart from wanting to fangirl over Dhruv and Kavya, and the love story, you also want to see more of how their relationship evolves. The performances, the story, and almost everything about the show have gone a notch higher, and that's the beauty about a show ending on a high note. The background score is beautiful, the cinematography also captures the beauty of down South when they travel, and the show by and large, looks much more beautiful.

The story has gotten more realistic, and and that is visible through the characters and how the narrative moves ahead. One is bound to fall in love with love, all over again!

The Bad

There's no bad or anything wrong with Little Things season 4, except for how some might feel that the show boasts of unrealistic standards and expectations at some places. However, the maturity of this season does balance it out.

The Verdict

Little Things 4 review

Little Things 4 is the closure that we could all use for the story of Kavu and Momo. While the season has matured and the performances have evolved, it is still the story that is truly the highlight of this series. For anyone who loves mush and believes in happy ending, this is like quite the guilty watch, but it is also true that one could learn a lot about love and life with the Netflix show as well.
