Dhawan’s Seeking Refund from Thailand Hotel; Confirms Varun-Natasha’s Wedding

Childhood sweethearts Varun Dhawan and Natasha Dalal are one of the most loved couples of B-town. Though the duo has always kept their relationship under wraps, they have often been spotted making public appearances together. After dating for years, the grapevines were abuzz with rumours of the couple soon getting hitched, however, nothing concrete surfaced about the same.

Last month, Dhawan family’s appearance at  Natasha’s suburban residence had led to rumours of the couple’s Roka ceremony. However, Varun had later clarified that it was just a birthday bash as it was Natasha’s father, Raju Dalal’s birthday.

Even after repeated efforts to keep the wedding news a secret, here’s something that has confirmed the wedding. Since a few days, there were reports of Varun-Natasha’ rumoured wedding to be postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic worldwide.

A recent report had stated that the couple was likely to have a destination wedding in Thailand, which later got shifted to Jodhpur and then finally to Mumbai. “The initial plan was to have an intimate wedding on a private island in Thailand, but it was scrapped last month in favour of a destination wedding in Jodhpur. Eventually, they called that off too and were considering having a low-key ceremony in Mumbai. But looking at the current scenario, they have decided to tentatively push the shaadi to November and have reverted to their original choice of destination — Thailand” Mid Day quoted a source as saying.

And now, due to the COVID-19 scare in the nation, the Thailand wedding has been postponed. The report states that the Dhawan family is asking for a refund from the resort in Thailand, and this, in turn, has confirmed the news of Varun-Natasha’s wedding.

Well, this means that we will have to wait a bit longer to see Varun get his Dulhania...
