Despite suffering a minor injury, Shakti Arora aces a daredevil stunt all by himself for Kundali Bhagya.

Zee TV’s top-rated show, Kundali Bhagya, has surely kept the audience at the edge of their seats over the past few months with several interesting twists and turns in Preeta’s (Shraddha Arya) life. However, it was Rishabh Luthra (Manit Joura) who took center stage recently as he returned to the Luthra mansion and exposed Sherlyn (Ruhi Chaturvedi) and Prithvi’s (Sanjay Gagnani) evil plans. What followed was beyond belief, with Karan (Dheeraj Dhoopar) being thrown into a lake by two masked villains and being chased down by a crocodile. The whole family, even though they reached the lake in time, couldn’t do much and saw him vanish into the lake. Five years later, the whole family is still astonished by what had happened, but everyone has moved on in their lives since then. However, the tale is all set to turn on its head once again as Arjun (Shakti Arora) enters Kundali Bhagya and creates havoc in Preeta’s life. 

Shakti Arora, who is making a comeback to TV after 3 long years, made an acrobatic entry into the show, pulling off a daredevil aerial stunt in his first scene for Kundali Bhagya. The sequence sees Arjun running through a busy street and jumping over trucks to save Preeta’s daughter from a car accident, while the latter is busy shopping with Rishabh (Manit Joura). With such an exciting entry into the show, Shakti was kicked and even though he was offered a body double, he insisted on pulling off the stunt all by himself. In fact, even after the team took all the necessary precautions, he did face a minor setback when he got slightly injured during one of the shots. However, he didn’t give up. He completed the stunt and his dedication won everyone’s hearts on the sets. 

Talking about his stylish entry, Shakti Arora mentions, “In TV shows, we rarely get a chance to perform stunts, so when this opportunity came up, especially for my entry sequence, I just couldn’t say no. I had the option of using a body double, but I really wanted to do it by myself. I have been wanting to do a real action sequence for a while now and this thrilling stunt really made me happy. I did suffer a small setback while shooting when I bruised my knee, but I didn’t want to halt the shoot midway and hence, I continued. I visited the doctor post wrap up and he said that it wasn’t anything major and the injury should heal soon. All in all, it was an experience of a lifetime, and I am sure the role will be a great challenge for me. It is the kind of role that I have not played till now, and I hope that my fans will enjoy watching me in this new avatar and character”
