Despite being a big star, Tejasswi Prakash was quite warm and welcoming: Shrey Mittal of ‘Naagin 6’

‘Naagin 6’ witnessed yet another leap and a new male lead entered the show to romance Tejasswi Prakash (Prarthana). Shrey Mittal has been roped in to romance Tejasswi as Raghuveer in the project.

India Forums got in touch with Shrey and had a candid chat with him about the project. Talking about his reaction after bagging the project, Shrey said, “Like any other actor, I was also glad to be a part of the Balaji family as it is considered as bagging a Dharma productions movie for film stars. I was quite excited also because ‘Naagin’ is a big show and it’s a legacy that is being continued season after seasons and is still one of the loved shows on television. The show enjoys a great viewership. Also, my previous show was ‘Pishachini’ which is quite different and even ‘Naagin 6’ is not a typical daily soap”.

When asked about his first interaction with leading lady Tejjaswi Prakash and other actors from the show, Shrey said, “For every new actor to enter a show mid-way can get a little awkward since the rest of the cast and crew already have a bond. But I was quite warmly welcomed and everyone was pretty sweet with me. Despite being a big star, Tejasswi also was quite warm and welcoming and so was the other cast members like Mahek and Sudha Ji. So, it was quite nice shooting for the show."

Talking about the response from fans, he added, “Well, you know when an actor takes up the lead role in a long running show wherein, the show already had another actor as the lead, fans get skeptical thinking if the new face will be able to do justice to the character or no. Until now, the response has been positive. I just hope and pray that the viewers accept me and shower love on me as I’ve done a lot of hard work to reach where I am”.
