Delhi chali Choti Bahu...

Zee's Choti Bahu has been received very well by audience and has got the success of being the slot topper at the 7.30 PM timing across channels.

The story line in the show has now reached a very interesting point where Radhika (Rubina Dilaik) goes all the way to Delhi to meet Dev (Avinash Sachdev) once before he leaves for the USA along with Vishaka. For this highpoint in the show, the entire unit who has been shooting at Wahi, Vrindavan, Mahableashwar, Mathura till now, reached the Capital City Delhi.

Says Avinash, "It was a very nice experience to shoot, and I must say this has been the best outdoor shoot we have had till date".

The shooting started in the famous Paranthe Wali Gali in Chandini Chowk where Radhika & Dev, started the day by munching on hot stuffed Paranthas and Lassi. Thousands of Delhities accompanied Radhika and Dev as they walked on the streets on their way to Lal Quila (Red Fort) from Chandini Chowk. Subsequently they visited ISBT, where they enjoyed the pleasant Delhi weather in an auto-rickshaw and after that they went to India Gate to pay their respect. On their way back from Red fort both the artists were mobbed so badly that they were unable to locate their car. Finally with the help of some security guards they caught an autorickshaw for Chandni Chowk. Shooting in Delhi was quite an adventure. Police and security guard initially didn't allow the cast to shoot inside the Quila but when they were made a part of that particular scene, permission were given immediately. WOW…. Kya kahein? The story doesn't end here, shoot at ISBT Bus depot was a classic case. The UP roadways bus was stopped at ISBT for a shot within the Bus with passengers around. Guess what… no one objected to this and the crowd also willingly participated with the cast.

Ask Avinash about his travel expedition in Delhi, and he will say, "It was an achievement in itself as we went to Chandni Chowk, Red Fort as well as India Gate in only one day".

Talking about one memorable experience, the actor said, "When we were shooting at Red Fort, so many people were gathered there that it completely disrupted our schedule and our cameraman had a tough task handling the camera".

Well, three cheers to the popularity that Choti Bahu has garnered in such a short span!!
