Deeya Chopra Blessed with a Baby Girl; Reveals her Daughter's Name!

Actress Deeya Chopra and Husband Ritchie Mehta were blessed with a baby girl on 6th April 2020 and the duo named their daughter ‘Sophia’. 

Deeya announced the arrival of their little angel on their social media account. She welcomed their second child with a greeting card that read,  “Evaan is delighted to announce the safe arrival of his darling sister Sophia Mehta on the 6th of April 2020 in New Delhi."

Deeya announced her pregnancy in December with a social media post that read, “Take a minute and look around you.. all that you see is it your creation or someone else's plan? Do you really decide the path you take or is it all pre destined? - For me this year has been like a tv show unfolding .. one episode at a time each taking a new crazy turn and I'm about to get to the finale—- Baby Mehta #2 due April 2020. My miracle child!

Couldn't have gotten through the last few months without my insanely amazing husband and family and friends- you know who you are and you're about to go through all my baby madness one more time hhahahahhahaha! One year= 2 babies!”

Deeya has earlier enthralled the audience with her performance in shows like Left Right Left, Mann Kee Awaaz Pratigya and Kashi- Ab Na Rahe Tera Kagaz Kora amongst others. She tied the knot with Ritchie Mehta in 2016.
