Deepika says She Would be Happy to Marry a South Indian Guy, Ranveer’s Reaction is Unmissable

After dating for six years, love birds Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh tied the knot on 14 December 2018 in a traditional Konkani-style wedding, followed by Sindhi rituals at Lake Como in Italy. The adorable couple shares alluring chemistry on screen and an even enchanting camaraderie in real life. Right from sharing the most loved up pictures to posting goofy comments on each other’s posts, the duo’s romance has swept fans off their feet.

The lovely couple recently clocked one year of marriage and celebrated their first anniversary with their families at Tirupati Balaji temple first and then at the Golden Temple, Amritsar. While DeepVeer seems to be madly in love with each other, Deepika remarks that she would have been very happy with a south Indian guy. 

Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone recently made an appearance at Anupama Chopra’s roundtable, where they spoke about films and more. On a lighter note, DP revealed details about her first meeting with her now-husband, Ranveer and said that she always thought that he was from Delhi and was shocked to know that he was from Bandra to which the Padmaavat actor replied, "that's what got her hooked". 

Reacting to Ranveer’s reply, Deepika jokingly said "I would have been very happy with a south Indian guy" and next we know, Ranveer had a sassy comeback as usual and said, "Just wait for two days, I'm going to Tirupati in a dhoti!"

Well, this camaraderie between the two actors is what makes them a crowd favorite!

Meanwhile, on the work front, Ranveer and Deepika will be seen together on screen after their marriage for the first time in Kabir Khan’s ‘83. While Ranveer plays Kapil Dev in the sports biopic, Deepika essays the role of Romi Dev.
