While the spread of coronavirus cases continue to surge, officials around the globe have urged the people to stay inside their houses. However, being home quarantined is seemingly impacting mental health. An actress and mental health activist Deepika Padukone recently announced that she will be teaming up with Dr. Tedros, director-general of the World Health Organization (WHO) to discuss the importance of mental health amidst the Coronavirus crises. Padukone revealed that she will be going live with Dr. Tedros on April 23rd at 7 pm IST.

The Chhapaak actress, took to her Twitter handle yesterday and shared an image informing the fans about the discussion.

However, Deepika was instantly targeted with a massive backlash from her fans the same as they were unhappy with Deepika's collaboration with Dr. Tedros. Some even went on to say that they have lost respect for the actress and won't watch her films anymore.
