Deepika Padukone's last Conversation with Sridevi Revealed!

Earlier this week, Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone and Boney Kapoor launched the book on the late legendary actor of the Indian cinematic world, Sridevi. Chronicling her massive contribution to cinema and her path-breaking filmography is her biography by Satyarth Nayak.

The book was unveiled at the literature festival held in Delhi; everyone present at the event was nostalgic. While all those present spoke about the diva’s aura and her success on the celluloid, Deepika Padukone walking us down the memory lane, revealed about the topics she discussed with the eternal diva. 

The Chhapaak actress spilled the beans about her personal relationship with Sridevi, and Padukone told all about the last conversation she had with Sridevi.

Shedding light on their discussions ranged from issues pertaining to their domestic help. She said: 

Maybe somewhere the South Indian connect. So much so that my last conversation with her was about staff issues at home. That’s the relationship we shared.

She also mentioned being extremely fond of Sridevi and remembered the times when the legendary actress had praised her on personal messages, post watching her movies.

Kajol has also penned a foreword for the book. Times of India quoted the actress saying, "I have grown up watching Sridevi's superstardom on film-sets and her magic on the big screen. She is an institution of acting and will forever remain my most favourite icon. So happy Penguin gave me this opportunity to write this foreword."
