Deepika Padukone along with her husband Ranveer Singh had recently flown down to Bengaluru just before the lockdown was imposed in Maharashtra. The couple left Mumbai and were headed to Deepika's hometown to spend time with her family.
But, unfortunately her family tested positive for the novel coronavirus and now as per reports, even Deepika has fallen prey to the virus.
As reported earlier, Deepika's father and legendary badminton player, Prakash Padukone is currently hospitalized where he is receiving treatment and the actress' mother, Ujjala Padukone and younger sister Anisha Padukone are treating themselves at home.
Now, Deepika's test results too have come and as per the reports she too has strains of the virus. As per sources, she is currently home quarantined and is receiving treatment for the same at her home itself.
Since Ranveer Singh too had accompanied his darling wifey for their family trip we tried reaching his team to know about his situation if he too has any symptoms of the virus or if he has isolated himself away from Deepika and his in-laws as a safety measure.
But, his team remained unavailable for any comments till the article went for publishing.
On Deepika's end too her team is unaware about the situation back in her Bengaluru home and neither her team nor the Padukones have released any official statement so far.
We pray for the good health of the Padukone family and wish them all a speedy recovery.
