Deepika Padukone begins promotions for 83 alongside Ranveer Singh

Deepika Padukone is back on the set of her upcoming films, juggling her time. In addition to filming her exciting new projects, the actress is also serving as producer for Kabir Khan's sports drama '83, which stars Ranveer Singh in the lead role. 

The actress, who is currently in Hyderabad filming her next film with Prabhas, will soon return home to resume her responsibilities as a producer. 

"Deepika is currently shooting for Nag Ashwin's next in Hyderabad with Prabhas," a source tells ETimes. “She'll be back soon to begin promoting '83, which she co-produced. Deepika has been working tirelessly to ensure that the inspiring sports drama, which is set to be released on December 24th, is produced on a grand scale." 

Deepika will play Romi Dev in the ensemble cast film, opposite Ranveer Singh, who will play Kapil Dev. 

Aside from '83,' Deepika has a long list of films on her schedule, including 'Mahabharata,' in which she will play Draupadi. Nag Ashwin's 'Project K ', Amitabh Bachchan's 'The Intern Remake ', Shah Rukh Khan's 'Pathan ', Hrithik Roshan's 'Fighter,' and Shakun Batra's untitled next.
