Deepika Padukone all set to resume shoot for Shakun Batra's next

Deepika Padukone has been in the news ever since she was summoned by the Narcotics Control Bureau as it is probing the drug angle post Sushant Singh Rajput case. The actress was summoned along with the likes of Sara Ali Khan, Shraddha Kapoor, Rakul Preet Singh and a few others.

However, the recent updates suggest that the actress is all set to resume shoot for upcoming film with Shakun Batra. Deepika was in Goa when she was summoned and updates in TOI now suggest that she will be resuming the shoot. The report further added how the parts with co-stars Ananya Panday and Siddhant Chaturvedi were being shot while she was away.

Deepika was probed for a couple of hours and also asked questions post the interrogation of her manager, Karishma Prakash. While she did admit to the WhatsApp chats, she did not divulge further. Earlier, several media reports suggested that the actresses would be acquitted of the charges, however, it was clarified that there is no truth to these rumors.

Today, Rhea Chakraborty has been out on bail, however, brother Showik and others, continue to be in judicial custody.
