Deepika Announces her Next on Twitter! Collaborates with Rishi Kapoor

Bollywood star Deepika Padukone has revealed her next film which will also star Rishi Kapoor. The film is a remake of a Hollywood film The Intern!


Deepika Padukone and Rishi Kapoor were last seen collaborating in Love Aaj Kal. Now, Rishi Kapoor has revealed that he will once again collaborate with the Chhapaak actress for yet another film.

Taking it to her Instagram handle, Deepika announced her collaboration on Twitter. She wrote: “Thrilled to present my next!??The Indian adaptation of #TheIntern 2021 release! Presented by @_KaProductions @warnerbrosindia and @iAmAzure See you at the movies!@chintskap”

Rishi Kapoor also took to his twitter handle and announced his collaboration with Deepika Padukone. He wrote: “Moving on to yet another journey with the Indian adaptation of #TheIntern with @deepikapadukone ! Produced by @SunirKheterpal and #DeepikaPadukone for @iAmAzure & @_KaProductions in collaboration with @warnerbrosindia @DenzD”

Rishi and Deepika’s next is an Indian adaptation of The Intern and the film is slated for 2021 release. Apart from that the film will be produced by Sunir Kheterpal and Deepika Padukone.

Deepika and Rishi hold a great bond together and they share a great relationship. Earlier when Kapoor was hospitalized for treatment, Deepika Padukone met veteran actors Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Singh in New York. Neetu had taken to her Instagram handle and shared pictures from their get together.

“Such a fun evening with adorable @deepikapadukone .. gave lot of love n warmth,” Neetu captioned the pictures. 

Rishi was not always this fond of Deepika and even called her immature for taking digs at Ranbir with Sonam Kapoor during an episode of Koffee With Karan in 2010. Now, the two have buried their differences in the past and they are trying to work towards a better future.
