Deepika Padukone  and Alia Bhatt share a great bond on personal front despite being contemporaries in their respective professional lives. Both have established themselves in the Hindi film industry and carved a niche for themselves.

Recently, the two along with other established actors from the cinema graced Film Companion's talk show and there amidst conversation, Deepika accidentally confirmed Alia and Ranbir Kapoor's marriage and left everyone surprised.

For those unaware, for a long time now, rumors of RK and Alia's wedding have been making rounds and the duo have been painting the town red with their lovey-dovey tales.

While interacting with Anupama Chopra, Vijay Deverakonda who was also present with Ranveer Singh, Ayushmann Khurrana, Manoj Bajpayee and others, was quizzed about actors who he would like to take advice from in Indian cinema.

In response to this, Vijay revealed that he has had a crush on Alia and Deepika for the longest time and then he pointed towards Deepika and said that she got married. Before he could speak any further Deepika interrupted him and mentioned that Alia is getting married.

Deepika's sudden confirmation about Alia's marriage surprised everyone and Alia who was herself shocked asked Deepika that why she made such a declaration. Replying to Alia, Deepika laughed off and said she made it up.

Here's the conversation that took place: Vijay said, “Without shame a lot of people on this table have been massive crushes, like been in love with some of them like these two (pointing to Deepika and Alia). She (Deepika) got married but.” Deepika interjected and said, “She (Alia) is getting married.” Vijay continued and said, “She (Alia) is getting married.”

Later, Alia spoke up and said, “Excuse me, why have you made this declaration?” Deepika clarifies and mentions that she just made it all up and laughs it off. A few months back, Alia had laughed off the rumour of her wedding with Ranbir Kapoor.

A few days back, news about Alia and Ranbir's wedding details were making headlines and suddenly amidst that a fake wedding card stating that the duo is getting married on January 22, 2020 started circulating further confusing everyone. 

However, later Alia had laughed it off several times and even her mom Soni Razdan mentioned that it was fake.
