Decomposed Dead Body of a Man found at Nagarjuna’s Farmhouse; Details inside

A highly decomposed body of an unidentified male person was found in the farmhouse property belonging to actor Akkineni Nagarjuna, in Papireddyguda in Telangana's Rangareddy district on Wednesday night. The death may have taken place around six months ago and it could be a suicide, suspects the police and the investigation is underway.

As per a News18 report, the Cyberabad police states that the property in question,  under the Keshampet police limits, is an unused agricultural land spanning around 40 acres. Reportedly, the land was purchased by the popular Telugu actor and was left unused for a long time. However, Nagarjuna’s wife, Akkineni Amala, had visited the land recently, in the first week of September, adds the report.

On Wednesday, while some farm laborers were working to ready the land for organic farm cultivation, they sensed a foul smell emanating from an abandoned building around the area. Upon entering the building space, the farm workers found a decomposed body of a male person inside the shed and alerted the Keshampet police, who inspected the scene with clues team and a dog squad.

The workers also alerted the Village Revenue Officer about the shocking incident, which then collected forensic evidence, and began the investigation.

The police have reportedly filed a case of suspicious death under section 174 of the CrPC on Thursday.

SI Venkateswarulu spilled details about the incident and said, “We were alerted by the VRO last night. After inspecting the area and the body, we suspect that it could be a suicide. Though we haven't identified the deceased yet, we are zeroing in on the person”, quoted The News Minute.

He further added, “We are investigating the death, it is too early to comment further.”

Besides, on the work front, Akkineni Nagarjuna was last seen in Manmadhudu 2, opposite Rakul Preet Singh and currently is busy hosting Bigg Boss Telugu 3.
