Bollywood actor Vijay Varma is basking in the success of Darlings. The actor was seen alongside Alia Bhatt and Shefali Shah in the film, and fans have just loved to hate him for his brilliant performance as Hamza.

Well, as the actor is busy making headlines for the same he has now slammed a news portal of reusing his old quote which he said during Gully Boy.

Earlier today, Filmfare took to their Twitter account and quotes Vijay as "My parents are now assured Bhooka nahi Marunga". The portal said that this statement of Vijay has come post the success of Darlings.

According to Vijay, he said this after he featured in Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt's Gully Boy.

Now, Vijay took to his social media handle to reply to the news portal and he has done it perfectly. Taking to his Twitter he replied to the news portal saying, 

"Ye toh maine Gullyboy ke liye bola tha..uske baad bohot paisa kamaya hai bhai"(I had said this during Gullyboy after that i have earned a lot of money brother)

For the unversed, in 2016 Pink starred Vijay in a negative role that had to be his breakthrough.

On the work front, Vijay has a number of projects, including 'Devotion of Suspect X' with Kareena Kapoor Khan, 'Dahaad' with Sonakshi Sinha, 'Mirzapur 3' and Sumit Saxena's untitled next.
