Dard Se... Disco on K for Kishore

If Shahrukh Khan can make a hit out of Dard-e-Disco, then the contestants of K for Kishore can show their mettle from Dard se… Disco tak. And that's precisely what they are all set to do this weekend. Each contestant this week is assigned two songs each – one a Kishore Kumar classic with sadness and pathos and the other a fast-paced number from Kishore Kumar's vast repertoire.

Bringing on the best of the nostalgic yesteryear songs the contestants simply rocked. But before that, they ingeniously made up a song to introduce themselves. These multi-talented participants surely proved to be a clever lot. Nayan Kumar Rathod set hearts soaring with Thandi hawa yeh chandni suhani … and followed it up with the boisterous Ek aankh maaroon toh… K Shailendra's rendition of Ajnabi tum jaane pehchaane se lagte ho… and Jalta hai jiya mera… evoked mixed reactions from the judges but the audience loved it. Chintan Bakiwala's choice of Koi lauta de mere … and Mama mia … met the challenge. Nayan's performance was pronounced the best of the day. But everyone is waiting with bated breath to know who amongst the two of them will make it to Nagesh Kukunoor's Top 2.
