Daljiet Kaur joins the cast of Sasural Genda Phool 2

We all know how the fans are all set and rolling to be witnessing the sequel to Sasural Genda Phool that is currently titled Sasural Genda Phool 2. While the fans were already excited with the prospect that actor Jay Soni and several other actors from the show will be reprising their roles in the second season but there was a question as to whether leading lady of the first season - Ragini Khanna will be making her return in the second season as well.

It is true that Khanna is indeed not exactly a part of the season and actor Shagun Sharma has replaced her but that doesn't mean that Khanna won't be seen at all. In fact, the actor has been roped in for a special cameo and was also seen in the promo of the show.

Well, now as per a report in IWMbuzz.com, the show will also have popular actress Daljiet Kaur playing a pivotal role. According to the report, Daljiet will enter the show as the third angle in the love story.

Daljiet has been a part of shows like Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon, Guddan Tumse Naa Hopayega among others. She also gained popularity with her stint in Bigg Boss 13.

Daljiet remained unavailable for comment.

The first teaser of the show was recently released and in the same we can see Jay Soni's Ishaan and Ragini Khanna's Suhana sitting across each other on a table in a restaurant. Suhana is literally playing a matchmaker for Ishaan. But Ishaan reminds Suhana that he promised her that there will be no one except her in his life. Suhana tells that as he had promised her, she is relieving him from the promise. But Ishaan is hell-bent and stubborn that he cannot imagine anyone else in his life except from her.

Soon the frame goes out and we realize Ishaan is talking to an invisible person denoting how Suhana is actually no more.
