Cuttputlli song Saathiya: Akshay and Rakul's track will set all the love birds grooving; will be out tomorrow

Akshay Kumar is one of the actors who doesn't actually stop when it comes to giving back to back movies. After his film Raksha Bandhan, now Akshay will be seen sharing screen space with Rakul Preet Singh in the thriller Cuttputlli.

The teaser and the trailer of the film is out and is touted to be a suspense thriller. Now Akshay has taken to his social media handle and shared a motion poster announcing that that the first song from the film titled 'Saathiya' will be dropping tomorrow.

Sharing the mostion poster video, Akshay wrote, "This one is going to get all the love birds grooving on its tunes like a #Cuttputlli! Catch #Saathiya on @zeemusiccompany. The song poster features Akshay and Rakul standing in a romantic position in the fields. While Kumar is sporting a bright yellow hoodie, Rakul can be seen decked in a blacl corset fit outfit. 

According to director Ranjit M Tewari, the opportunity to work with Akshay Kumar for a second time was both humbling and exciting for him. He was drawn to Cuttputlli because he had always been interested in the job of the police. He wanted the mental acuity, dedication, and manual labour that goes into solving a case to be visible to the viewers.

Akshay will be seen playing the part of a devoted and obedient cop in the film. He remarked that Cuttputlli's original notion is what initially drew him to the project. Apart from this Kumar will has a busy scehdule ahead and would be a part of many other films. He will be seen in Selfiee, Ram Setu, OMG 2, Capsule Gill and many other projects. 

On September 2, Cuttputlli will be made accessible only on Disney+ Hotstar, and for US viewers, Cuttputlli will be streamable on Hulu.
