Currently, I portray 10 different characters in a day: Gaurav Gera!

SAB TV's Hansi He Hansi...Mil Toh Lein has kept its viewers hooked to the show by roping in some amazing artists who present some of the most entertaining acts we see on television today. One of the artists is the super talented Gaurav Gera, who is a visual delight to watch on television.

Gaurav Gera was on a sabbatical break after his last stint on Mrs. Pammi Pyarelal.

So what about this show interest him to make a comeback?

Gaurav said, "Hansi Hi Hansi... is a different show where we get to play so many gags. As an actor I feel kicked about playing different characters. Currently, I portray 10 different characters in a day and each character caters to a different kind of a set up which brings variety in a show. The main reason why I am fond about his show is that this show caters to the family audience."

With Comedy Nights With Kapil being the 'king' of reality - comedy shows, we probed him if he ever felt a sense of competition or fear of the show not doing well.

The talented actor shed some light saying, "Yes Comedy Nights With Kapil also incorporates a lot of gags. But the difference is that unlike them using the patent characters like Dadi and guthi all the time, we bring in new faces time and again. But yes, we cannot compare both the shows as we have kept our show different which brings no comparison."

"According to me, comedy is not bound to anyone; everybody wants to laugh and the more options the better. There are good comedy shows going on but then as it is rightly said - the more the merrier, happier the better."

We are sure the viewers too feel that Gaurav is very comfortable doing comedy. The genre being his forte, we asked him how much is he attached to his passion?

Gaurav said, "Comedy makes me feel lighter and this is one of the main reasons for my happiness. I cannot stay away from comedy."

Indeed Gaurav Gera is one of the most talented comedians our industry has!
