Kanika Kapoor Booked for Endangering Lives; awaits Interrogation by Lucknow Police!

Kanika Kapoor’s problems do not seem to end, as an inquiry has been set up against her. She reportedly hid her travel history from the travel authorities in Lucknow and also partied with a whopping number before she diagnosed with Coronavirus. The singer landed in Mumbai from the UK on March 9 and returned to Lucknow two days later. She tested positive on March 20. 

However, the singer received her fair share of criticism for her alleged negligence. Yet several problems await her destiny as she was booked by the Lucknow police for her irresponsible behavior. 

Kanika was recently discharged from the Sanjay Gandhi Post Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences (SGPGIMS) hospital in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. Now, an Amar Ujala report stated that she will be interrogated by the Lucknow police. 

The report adds that an FIR was lodged against Kanika Kapoor at Sarojini Nagar police station under IPC sections 188, 259 and 270. Two more FIRs were lodged at the Hazratganj and Mahanagar police station for endangering other people’s lives. DCP Central Dinesh Singh revealed that Kanika will be questioned after getting quarantined for 14 days.

For those unaware, Police Commissioner Surjit Pandey had told PTI, “An FIR was lodged at the Sarojini Nagar police station under IPC Sections 269 (negligent act likely to spread infection of disease dangerous to life), 270 (malignant act likely to spread infection of disease dangerous to life), 188 (disobedience to order duly promulgated by public servant)."

Kanika Kapoor was under quarantine for three weeks and now, the singer took her sixth test for coronavirus and she was reportedly tested negative.
