According to reports, the court has ordered the producers of the movie Kantara to stop playing the disputed song "Varaha Roopam" in theatres. After receiving a lawsuit for plagiarism from the well-known Malayalam band Thaikkudam Bridge, the Kozhikode Sessions Court imposed an order prohibiting the creators from playing the song "Varaha Roopam." Additionally, none of the big streaming services will play the music.

The well-known music group had previously stated that they will file a lawsuit against the Kantara creative team for plagiarising their well-known song, "Navarasa." Thaikkudam Bridge announced on its official social media accounts that an injunction order had been granted by the Kozhikode sessions prohibiting the screening of "Varaha Roopam" in theatres and on streaming services due to copyright infringement.
