Talking of which, he took to social media on Friday to share a picture with his mother and reveal that she was recently diagnosed with cancer. In his emotional post, Kartik expressed how his family was initially "frazzled and helpless" after receiving the news. Still, his mother's willpower and resilience inspired them to fight the "dark but destined to win the war." 

Kartik Aaryan shared an adorable picture on social media with his mother recently. The post was accompanied by a heartfelt caption in which he revealed that his mother had recently been diagnosed with cancer. Despite the difficult time, the duo looked happy and cheerful in the picture as they flashed their million-dollar smile.

Kartik praised his mother's strength and resilience in his emotional post and called her a 'superhero'. The post garnered much attention from his fans and friends in the film industry, who showed their love and support for his mother. His post read, 

"Some time ago during this month the Big C - 'Cancer' sneakily crept in and tried to rattle the lives of our family! We were frazzled and helpless beyond despair! But thanks to the willpower, resilience and never give up attitude of this fierce soldier - My Mom, we turned to the Bigger C- 'Courage' and marched with all our might and won the dark but destined to win war! What it taught us eventually and continues to teach us every day, is that there's no superpower bigger than the love and support of your family! #SuperHero #CancerWarrior."
