Contemporary love story inspired from Gandhi and Kasturba on Imagine..
DJ's Creative Unit to come up with a show inspired from the Gandhi and Kasturba love story..
We bring you yet another unique concept that Imagine will be churning out to the audience in the next few months. Deeya and Tony Singh's DJ's Creative Unit are making a one of a kind fiction show which is inspired from the love story of Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi and Kasturba, for Imagine.
A little birdie tells us, "This will be a modernized contemporary love story of Gandhi and Kasturba. The show is titled 'Kastur'. The casting for the show is on, and the channel and production house are presently working on the concept and on the apt faces to feature in the show".
We tried calling Producer Tony Singh for a comment on the same, but our efforts were in vain.
Well, this concept seems to be like a breath of fresh air for television..

Another opportunity for DJs to cast Mona and Apu together again...and as usual it will be another opportunity wasted because TnD LOVE to deprive us exactly of what we want!

Imagine always ends a good show abruptly in recent time its r KMH2 and Gunahon ka devta.So no story will help them to get TRps.
DJ creatives is a good production house so be carefull for imagine tv.

Just cant believe how can a channel be so pathetic and partial in their attitude to steal time from one show to give a special episode to the other. We have no problems towards Gunaho ka Devata having a Maha episode but how could Imagive completely disrespect the emotions and feelings of the KMH lovers...this attitude will not bring you anything rather this will make people aware what kind of a channel imagine is...today it was KMH lovers turn but tomorrow can be theirs...do you really think this step- motherly attitude towards KMH will bring popularity and more TRPs..I am afraid to say that can't be the case..rather from now on peopl will understand what kind of a tyrant channel Imagine Channel actually is..glad that KMH is now free from the tyrant chains of this "bakwas" Unimagine TV

@Darklord_Rehan - I meant post-marital love only. There was no concept of pre-marital love then. In fact, Gandhi had no respect for Kasturba as a woman and was forever denigrating her - publicly and privately. Perhaps that would make for an excellent TV show, coz it would be like a typical saas-bahu drama then.

hmm interesting. lets see whats in store here from tony and deeya. their show jassi was immensely popular bring back apurva and mona singh then see.. provided imagine doesnt think of axing this one also mid way
