Colors’ Gathbandhan To Go Off Air!

Colors’ popular show Gathbandhan featuring debutantes Shruti Sharma and Abrar Qazi in the lead roles might go off air very soon. Produced by Jay Mehta Productions, the show revolves around a unique love story between a lady cop Dhanak and a street smart guy Raghu. The storyline was refreshing and viewers loved the fresh pairing and the show even got great TRPs. Actor Kinshuk Mahajan was also roped in to play parallel lead in the show. 

However, the buzz is that Gathbandhan may soon go off air. Reports suggest that the channel wants to make a way for Shashi Sumeet Productions’ upcoming show Aarambh starring Mahima Makwana as the lead and that’s why they have decided to pull the plug on Gathbandhan. Some media reports also suggest that the show might end in the second week of november. 

We tried contacting the actors for confirmation but unfortunately couldn’t reach them.
