Chris Hemsworth is a Humble Guy: Priyanshu Painyuli shares ‘Unexpected First Meeting’ with Extraction Star

Joe Russo and Chris Hemsworth have yet again collaborated for an action thriller Netflix movie titled Extraction. Based on the comic Ciudad by Ande Parks, Joe Russo, Anthony Russo, Fernando Leon Gonzalez, and Eric Skillman, Extraction is a high octane drama that unfolds when a black-market mercenary rescues the kidnapped son of an imprisoned international crime lord.

Besides Chris, the film also stars Bollywood actors like Randeep Hooda, Pankaj Tripathi and Priyanshu Painyuli. We got in touch with Priyanshu, who plays a Bengali drug mafia in the film and he spoke to us about his character, first meeting with Chris, and more.

Priyanshu revealed that he had to do extensive work on his Bangladeshi dialect as he did not know how to speak in Bengali before the film. He wanted the language to sound authentic and he underwent dialect coaching for the same as well. Besides, his styling included silk shirts, embroidered sherwanis, gold chains and rings, that added detailing to his character.

Speaking of his first meeting with the Thor actor, Priyanshu reveals that it was quite unexpected and unusual. 

I was expecting to be formally introduced to Chris, but the way I met him was quite unexpected. I was in the vanity van, getting my hair done and Chris just walked in there to get his beard trimmed. That was the first time we met. He sat next to me and started playing music on his Bluetooth. Soon, we got talking. He is humble and down-to-earth.

Priyanshu is known for his film Bhavesh Joshi Superhero and is marking his Hollywood debut with Extraction. Directed by Sam Hargrave and screenplay by Joe Russo, the film is one of the most-anticipated crime thrillers this year. Extraction releases on Netflix on April 24 2020.
