Renowned Jamaican cricketer Chris Gayle recently unveiled his latest single, "Oh Fatima," a collaboration with Indian singer-composer Arko Pravo Mukherjee. During the music launch event, Gayle expressed his desire to dance with Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone if given the opportunity.

Gayle shared his admiration for Deepika Padukone, describing her as a "very nice lady" whom he had the pleasure of meeting in person. He expressed his eagerness to dance with her in a song, showcasing his enthusiasm for the world of Bollywood. The charismatic cricketer also discussed how the pandemic-induced lockdown provided him with an opportunity to explore his musical talents.

He explained that the idea of creating music emerged during this period, when a friend suggested they collaborate on a song. Gayle was captivated by the experience, particularly when the people of Jamaica warmly embraced his foray into music. This initial success inspired him to record more songs, leading him to set up his own studio at home and collaborate with various music industry professionals. Gayle expressed his surprise at venturing into singing, a path he had never envisioned during his illustrious cricket career.

On the other hand, Deepika Padukone has an exciting lineup of projects in her future. She is set to star in Nag Ashwin's "Project K" alongside Amitabh Bachchan and Prabhas. Additionally, she will share the screen with Hrithik Roshan for the first time in Siddharth Anand's "Fighter." This film promises to be an extravagant showcase of aerial action and will also feature Anil Kapoor and Karan Singh Grover.
