Chirag Thakkar in Zee5’s Ishq Aaj Kal!

Actor Chirag Thakkar who is known for his role in Sony TV’s Bade Achhe Lagte Hain is gearing up for his new project. Yes, you read that right! Chirag will be seen in Zee5’s romantic drama Ishq Aaj Kal. 

Talking to India Forums, Chirag confirmed the news and said, “Yes, I’m playing a character named Raghav, who is a CBI officer.”

Chirag will be seen in a positive character and has already started shooting for the same. Last week, the makers of the series released eight episodes on Zee5, most of which was shot in Manali. Now, Chirag will feature in the coming episodes.

Chirag was part of shows like Amita Ka Amit and Punar Vivah 2. The actor tied the knot with Television actress Parul Chauhan in a lavish ceremony last year.

About the series, it is a spin-off of Zee TV’s Ishq Subhaan Allah, and stars Ankita Sharma, Angad Hasija and Paras Kalnawat in lead roles. While Ishq Subhan Allah showcased the clashes between old school thoughts v/s Modern outlook, Ishq Aaj Kal conveys a completely different story, combined with love, revenge, thrill and mystery. Produced by Creative Eye Productions and directed by Nitesh Singh, the series also features Roshmi Banik, Kavita Ghai, Rajesh Khera, Shagun Jaiswal in pivotal roles.
