The early reviews rave highly of the film, and the story seems to be gripping and soul-stirring, with the perfect balance of responsibility and accountability of discussing such a sensitive topic of acid abuse. 

The film’s leading lady, Deepika, visited the Siddhivinayak temple today morning in Mumbai, to seek the blessings of the almighty. Dressed in a traditional avatar in a beige color ethnic wear, she looked stunning.

After Chhapaak, the actress will be seen in '83 alongside Ranveer Singh. Also, soon will start shooting for Shakun Batra directorial.
