Anas Rashid aka Sooraj from popular Star Plus show 'Diya Aur Baati Hum' recently made it to the headlines when he announced his engagement with a non-industry girl, Heena.

His engagement ceremony took place on Sunday (April 9) in a close-knit affair. Heena is 24-years-old and hails from Chandigarh while Anas is 38-years-old.

It is an arranged marriage for the duo.

Anas had earlier confessed that he would get married to the girl of his family's choice and had also added that Heena was a perfect match for him.

The ceremony took place in his hometown, Malerkotla.

As per reports in the media, the wedding is supposed to happen by the end of the year, but the 'groom-to-be' has not yet confirmed the same.

To see them stand together was a treat to the eyes..God bless them, and the cool composed matured princess and the prince
going to be on top in coming days no doubt about it .God bless and protect them from the evil eyes and minds.
No wonder some are not able to digest his wellness and he is blessed with a good life so targeting about the age gap..

14 years is a big gap. I have nothing against this actor and wish him the best in his married life. But I have read many articles about him and his long term GF. Looks like he never committed to her but happy to commit to a girl of his family's choice who is so much younger. Can't respect that. Sorry!

don't brother about some people who wait to spit venom even during your joyous moment... never seen them once appreciating you for saving people from fire or when you did some charity or when you honour your fans...

He is 38 and she is 24 .. yaah great .. I can't sugarcoat things otherwise would have congratulated them.

PS: I am no fan or hater .. just wanted to see who is getting married to whom and discovered this.
