With the lockdown gradually lifting and people across the country stepping out into the new normal, Zee TV resumed shoots of its shows and reconnected its audiences with the journeys of their beloved characters from 13th July. With an aim to reunite the viewers with another such character that had struck a chord with them, Zee TV’s Ishq Subhan Allah?saw the return of the original Zara Siddiqui that was essayed by Eisha Singh till last year. However, this time around, Eisha has returned to the show with a new twist to her character and a completely new and different look.
For the uninitiated, season one of Ishq Subhan Allah had ended with a heart wrenching twist when Zara (Eisha Singh) was assumed dead after her car had fallen off a cliff. The second season of the show followed and brought in a fresh a engaging plot and a completely new Zara (Tunisha Sharma). Now in a new twist post lockdown, Eisha Singh has returned to Ishq Subhan Allah, donning a new avatar. She will be seen as Nargis, a music healer who uses the extraordinary healing powers of music to rejuvenate and inspire even the most depressed.
Stepping away from the Lucknowi chikankari kurtas that she used to wear earlier, Eisha Singh will be seen wearing beautiful Anarkalis in her new avatar. In fact, a striking feature of her new avatar is that she will also be seen wearing a head gear which brings out an elegant, imperial appearance to her character. In her first look from the show, she was seen dressed in mostly all-white or pastel Anarkalis with minimalistic jewellery and her upcoming look will truly be loved by one and all.
Talking about her new avatar, Eisha shared, “I was honestly taken by surprise when the stylist showed me the new look and I instantly fell in love it. The entire look has a fresh and stylish appeal and is quite different from the ones I have donned until now. The head gear is personally my favourite because it is quite unique and it gives the character the oomph factor it deserves. It matches my character's brief and brings in the perfect balance of serenity and strength to my character. In fact, the look will even help the audience build a perception of how my new character is going to shape up and change Kabir’s life. I remember I used to love getting ready as Zara and now again, I love getting into this avatar, especially since the time required to get into this look is also minimal. It’s honestly quite an exciting new beginning and I can’t wait to see what this new chapter has in store for me.”
