It has been a few days since Bollywood actress Parineeti Chopra and politician Raghav Chadha tied the knot. While we still cherish their dreamy wedding and the pictures and videos coming out, today the actress has dropped a post unveiling the game day- a tradition started by the Chopra’s and Chadha’s as one of their pre-wedding festivities.
The post featured candid pictures of the bride and groom along with their teams competing in various sports activities. One picture that took our hearts away featured Pari donning her orange bride tee and sitting with groom Raghav in a blue tee with a ball surrounded by other cricket equipments. In the caption Parineeti unveiled the traditions and the games involved in their sports day.
“Time to spill the beans on our not-so-traditional rituals, to kickstart our traditional Indian wedding!
• Musical Chairs: A high-stakes dance-off where everyone cheats
• Lemon & Spoon Race: All those years in school sports days did not prepare you for this
Three-Legged Race: More difficult than hitting a cricket century, bruises are inevitable, but the bonds you forge are priceless
• Cricket: Watch out for cricket legends within the fam (especially your mother-in-law, who will change the game with a wicket on the final ball, and win the game)
› The bride uses her bridal power to bring World Cup cricketers to her side
Now, about setting the trend: It's not just about winning or losing. It's about the incredible moments, the cheers, the laughter, and most importantly, the bonds formed. Our Chadha-Chopra War was an epic battle where both sides emerged victorious and hearts were well and truly conquered.”
Parineeti and Raghav tied the knot in an intimate ceremony at the picturesque location of Udaipur. Notable figures from the world of sports, politics, and entertainment graced their star-studded wedding, including tennis sensation Sania Mirza, former cricketer Harbhajan Singh, Aam Aadmi Party MP Sanjay Singh, Shiv Sena leader Aditya Thackeray, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, and renowned fashion designer Manish Malhotra.
