Books are probably one of the best things that man has ever created. Books are powerful tools that take you to another world! Today is Book Lovers Day, and we decided to ask actors about what books do they love the most.
I like the book 'Jonathan Livingston Seagull' by Richard Bach. The book has depth. It gives an insight into life through the lives of penguins.
I like the book 'When Bad Things Happen To Good People' by Harold Kushner. The book has my soul. It describes the tragedy of life.
'PS : I Love you' by Cecelia Ahern because it just crushes your heart and at the same time makes you believe in love strongly, though making you weep.
My favourite books are 'Autobiography of a Yogi' by Paramahansa Yogananda Ji. It was the only book which Steve jobs had in his iPad and recommend everyone to read this book before dying. Other books on my list are 'Journey Home and journey within' by Radhanath Swami Maharaj, 'Laws of the spirit world' by Khorshed Bhavnagar.
My favourite quotes are many, but I will state the most famous one which is on my lips by Paramahansa Yogananda Ji in his book Autobiography of a Yogi. The quote goes like "Everything else can wait, but your search for God cannot wait."
I like the book 'The Alchemist' by Paulo Coelho. It's really close to my heart. I love the core theme of the book, "when you want something, all the universe conspires in helping you to achieve it."
I like the book 'The Hunger Games' by Suzanne Collins. The genre of this book is Adventure, Dystopian and Science Fiction. I am a very adventurous person. An adventurous person is the one who is excited to try something new and different from others and who love to take risks and explore a variety of things.
'The Leadership Sutra' by Devdutt Patnaik. He is my favourite writer. His amazing style to weave mythology with today's dynamics and thoughts is par excellence.
'Screw Let's Do It' by Richard Branson. It is a book which inspires you to achieve anything you want in life, it also tells us that your goals in life are quite achievable.

'The Children of Men from the year 1992' by P. D. James. My favourite quote from the book is "We can experience nothing but the present moment, live in no other second of time, and to understand this is as close as we can get to eternal life."
The meaning of this line is that Yesterday is history, Tomorrow is a mystery, but today is all we have for sure, hence it's a gift what we can call the 'present'.

"You shouldn't make decisions based on what makes you feel safe. Make your decisions on what makes you feel alive. Life might be too short for regrets - but life is far too long to live with a compromise". I read this line in a book called 'What A Girl Wants' by Lindsey Kelly and it has managed to stay in my head ever since then.
Although I'm not much of a reader, I do read on and off when I find time. My favourite book is 'Animal Farm' by George Orwell. The best line from the book is "The best books are those that tell you what you know already."
I really loved reading Chetan Bhagat's 'Half Girlfriend'. While reading the book I feel like I am Riya Somani and I'm excited to see the book come to life as a film!
