Minimal Accessorising
Bollywood citizens don’t just set trends but they break them too. They are not always the ones to wear the most classic pieces, a little quirk here and there or may be in the entire outfit is what you will get to see if they are not opting for the standard or contemporary fashion. So, as we are just inches away from 2020, here’s looking at all the off-entered outfit choices made by Bollywood’s fashionable frontrunners.
Minimalism Moment
Starting with the cute and absolutely adorable, Alia Bhatt in this bandhni chiffon saree. While the saree is not the quirk that we are talking about but the way Alia has styled it, is worth taking notice of! Just a maang-teeka and nothing else. This eccentric minimalism has her look on the list!
Say-My-Name Saree
Then we have our darling Bebo in a saree that read Bebo. A dreamy six-yards of sexiness in light blue colour with painted leaves and flowers and Kareena Kapoor’s nickname Bebo written on it. Although there has been a lot of quirk happening in the saree market, this one steals the cake!
Saree Pleated Western Charm
Mention saree and there isn’t anyone else who could give an off-centred spin to it better than Sonam Kapoor. While Bebo's saree was different for it's print, Sonam's is for it's fusion with a gown and of course styling. Sonam accessorised her saree-gown with a fascinator and drop-shoulder lantern sleeves. Total slayer!
Structured Lehenga
Ananya Pandey’s Amit Aggarwal designed lehenga. The couturier is famous for his interesting cuts and structures and the same has been incorported here in Ananaya’s light pink lehega choli. The eccentric stripes on the lehenga and unconventional embroidery on the choli makes it right here on this list.
For The Sake Of Fluff
When we talk about out-of-the-box fashion, we can’t miss out on Deepika Padukone’s chartreuse green tulle gown from Giambattista Valli that she wore to Cannes Film Festival red carpet this year. The full-on fluff and the headband had us all talking in our head office!
Metallic Moment
The metallic outfits that are enjoying a bright moment in the fashion world, took the highroad with Janhvi Kapoor’s gown. It wasn’t just any other metallic gown but a multicoloured one by Maria Lucia Hohan. The colours and its glaze is out of the ordinary run-of-the-mill metallics.
Architectural Gown
The Cool Kiara Advani in a body hugging theatric gown featuring a long trail, a structured sleeve and an unconventionally shaped plunging neckline. Kiara glammed it up with metallic makeup. From the design to the choice of glistening pigments on the face
Vintage Chic
This listical would be incomplete without the mention of Ranveer Singh's eccentric style choices. While we can add almost all his outfit picks, this one tops the list for it's print and old-world charm. Hands down, Ranveer is the King of all things quirky.
Shift With A Twist
Anushka Sharma rocking the very classic, shift dress with a twist, an exaggerated set of sleeves. Also, this year's most sought after trends in sleeves.
Sayonara Solids
This year, saw an evolution of suits. Men ditched the classic solids for the prints. And that wasn't just any but the most unusual of them all. Heading this was, Shahid Kapoor. Shahid has opted for many uniquely printed suits, of them all this one totally topped this category.
Comic Print
In the same category but just a busier version of the same. Karan Johar in a comic print formal jacket. If there was one producer/director who could give all the actors a run for their money in the style department then it would be Karan Johar. His outfit picks are always out of the ordinary.
