Bollywood movies to look forward to in October 2019!

Check out the list of all the Bollywood movies that will releasing this October...

Every Friday decides the fate of one or more than one movies that are releases. All the year’s hard work, may it be by the actors, directors or the editors, either pays off when the movie earns huge numbers at the box-office or goes completely down the drain when the audience as well as the critics fail to acknowledge the efforts. 

Well, as times have started changing it’s not necessary that a Bollywood movie releases only on a Friday, if it means earning big bucks at the box-office, celebrities release their movies on a holiday may it be Eid or Independence Day.

Even the month of October, many of us would be celebrating various festivals like Navratri and Diwali. Taking this opportunity forward let’s take a look at the movies that will be releasing this month…

2nd October – 

1. WAR

Starring Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff in lead roles, WAR is Yash Raj Films’ most-anticipated movie till date. Directed by Siddharth Anand, the action-thriller will see both the stars pitted against each other. Ever since the announcement of the movie, fans have been eager to watch Tiger and his guru Hrithik not only share a screen space but also have a dance face off. WAR also features Vaani Kapoor as the female lead.

2. Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy

Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy is a periodic multi-lingual drama that is based on the life of freedom fighter Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy and the war is known to be the first war of Independence against the British Rule in India. 

Directed by Surender Reddy and produced by Ram Charan, Excel Entertainment and AA Films in association with Konidela Productions the movie featuring an ensemble cast of Amitabh Bachchan, Dr. Chiranjeevi, Kichcha Sudeep, Vijay Sethupathi, Jagapathi Babu, Ravi Kishan, Nayanthara, Tamannaah and Niharika.

11th October – 

1. Lootcase

Lootcase traces the journey of a middle class man, Nandan Kumar, who discovers a bag full of cash. He doesn’t know where the cash came from or who does it belong to. He has to also decide whether he will keep the cash to overcome a struggling middle class life or leave it. 

Starring Kunal Kemmu, Vijay Raaz, Gajraj Rao, Rasika Duggal, Ranvir Shorey in lead roles, the movie is directed by Rajesh Krishnan and produced by Fox Star Studios and Soda Films Productions.

2. The Sky Is Pink

Starring Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Farhan Akhtar, Zaira Wasim, and Rohit Saraf in lead roles, The Sky Is Pink traces the journey of Aditi and Niren who lose their daughter to pulmonary fibrosis. It is based on the real-life story of Aisha Chaudhary, who was a motivational speaker and an author of the book My Little Epiphanies, which was published a day before she passed away.

Directed by Shonali Bose the movie which was recently premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) is produced by Siddharth Roy Kapur (Roy Kapur Films), Ronnie Screwvala (RSVP) and Priyanka Chopra (Purple Pebble Pictures).

3. Laal Kaptaan 

Directed by Navdeep Singh, Laal Kaptaan features Saif Ali Khan, Zoya Hussain, Manav Vij, Deepak Dobriyal and Sonakshi Sinha in pivotal roles. Produced by Aanand L Rai’s Colour Yellow Productions and Eros International, Laal Kaptaan sees Saif’s character (a vengeful Naga Sadhu) on a tumultuous journey full of drama, revenge and deceit.

25th October – 

1. Saand Ki Aankh

Starring Taapsee Pannu and Bhumi Pednekar in lead roles, Saand ki Aankh traces the journey of Chandro Tomar and her sister-in-law Prakashi Tomar (world's oldest female sharpshooters). Directed by Tushar Hiranandani and produced by Anurag Kashyap, the movie also features Prakash Jha and Vicky Kadian in pivotal roles.

2. Made In China

Starring Rajkummar Rao and Mouni Roy in lead roles, Made In China follows the journey of A middle-aged Gujarati businessman, who dejected by his failures, goes to China in the hopes of better prospects, where he embarks on an unusual journey. Directed by Mikhil Musale and produced by Dinesh Vijan, the movie also stars Boman Irani in a pivotal role.

3. Housefull 4

Featuring an ensemble cast of Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh, Bobby Deol, Kriti Kharbanda, Pooja Hegde, Kriti Sanon, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Rana Daggubati, Chunky Panday, Johnny Lever, Boman Irani and Ranjeet, this franchise of Housefull will see all the characters playing double roles – one role will be from the 15th century and the other will be of their present.

Produced by Sajid Nadiadwala's Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment and co-produced by Fox Star Studios, the poonarjanam drama is directed by Farhad Samji.
