Last night was indeed lights, camera and party for Bollywood citizens as each one glided out of their house in their festive best fashion to attend the grandest Diwali bash in the town, Amitabh Bachchan's. While it was a party of colours and extravagance, there were interesting silhouettes too worn by some of our most loved divas. Here's ogling at those and more.....
Janhvi Kapoor came in a gorgeous golden-glamour laden avatar. If there is tons of sparkle in one ensemble then it goes without saying that it was by Manish Malhotra. Janhvi chose to style it with a mauve velvet clutch. How divalicious!
Away from all the glitters and sparkles was Kareena Kapoor in a rather unconventional ensemble. Kareena wore a plunging neck choli, flared skirt and dupatta from Good Earth clothing. Keeping in harmony with the vibe of her outfit, Bebo styled it with a casually tied up bun and a Kundan choker and earring set. Just too Bebolicious!
After Bebo comes her sister Lolo, Karisma Kapoor. Karisma stayed true to her classic style, Karisma opted for a red hot saree from ace designer Sabyasachi. She styled it with drop jhumkees and a sleek hairstyle. True Lolo style!
Think some bridal beauty of an outfit and we had Katrina Kaif rock one from every bride's dream designer, Sabyasachi Mukherjee. Katrina wore a red lehenga from Sabya's Devi collection. Whenever she does decide to, we now know what to expect from Katrina as a bride.
Giving a spectacle to the art of tie-and-dye was Kiara Advani in an orange-and-pink lehenga contrasted with a golden embellished choli by designer Akanksha Gajria. Kiara styled it with a potli bag and an uncut diamond choker. Ethereal!
Dazzling head-to-toe was Kriti Sanon in a dark golden drape. Kriti added extra sparkle to the look with diamond chandelier earrings at the same time kept it a bit casual with a neatly tied ponytail. Fire cracker of a style!
Malaika Arora brought Anamika Khanna's ace style to the party with her quintessential jacket, corp and draped skirt ensemble. Malaika accessorized it with a chunky choker and a clutch bag. So stylish!
Deep like the midnight sky, Sonakshi Sinha in a dark blue lehenga. Her ensemble subtly dazzled with same colour embroidery while Sona did with a deep smokey eye makeup and open big curls for her manes. Sona the slayer!
One more fashion marvel from Manish Malhotra's world, this silver metallic drape as worn by Tara Sutaria. Tara looked sultry in it as she wore the pallu slightly down along with Manish's trademark plunging neck crop top. Tara truly twinkled!
Meet Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma, Sabyasachi loyalists. Anushka gleamed in the designer's embroidered black choli and colourful flared skirt while Virat looked suave in a white bandhgala suit from the label. Stylish couple indeed!
