In a surprising turn of events, an FIR has been lodged against actors and brothers Arbaaz Khan and Sohail Khan by the BMC (Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation). The complaint is lodged by a BMC official under the Epidemic Diseases Act, 1897.
This is in connection to how reportedly, both of them returned to Mumbai from Dubai on December 25 and were supposed to stay isolated at Taj Lands End Hotel in Bandra West as a part of institutional quarantine but they apparently cancelled their bookings and went directly to their home after testing negative at Mumbai airport.
Thus this means of a violation and flouting of Covid-19 rules and regulations. Whether or not, there will be an update on this, we will have to wait and see.
Recently, the likes of Guru Randhawa, Suresh Raina and Suzzane Khan among others were booked for a similar case of flouting COVID rules and attending a party.
