Bipasha Basu reveals how covid-19 spoiled her big birthday plans with husband Karan Singh Grover

Bipasha Basu, who is 43 years old today, reveals that she had big plans for her birthday this year. However, due to the increase in COVID cases, the actress will spend the day at home with her family. 

When asked about her special day, Bipasha told a news portal that no matter how old she gets, she is always excited for her birthdays. This year, the actress revealed that she had a lot of plans. Her husband, Karan Singh Grover, was supposed to accompany her to the Maldives. However, due to the increase in COVID cases, they have decided to be responsible and remain at home. 

Bipasha spilled the beans on how she plans to celebrate her birthday at home, saying it will be a simple affair with her parents present and a lot of her favourite food cooked by her mother. The actress also stated that she will miss all of her friends as well as her birthday celebrations, which she adores. 

Karan tested positive for COVID last year as well and was stranded in Serbia, missing out on the New Year and her birthday. However, the actress is thankful this year that her family is healthy and happy. 

Meanwhile, Bipasha has been absent from the silver screen for quite some time. She was most recently seen in the 2020 web series 'Dangerous.'
