Biopic on Subrata Roy, Sahara Chairman confirmed: See Announcement

A biopic on Subrata Roy, Chairman of Sahara India Pariwar is on the cards. While the big announcement comes today, more details are on the way.

The biopic on the Indian business tycoon will be officially announced on Subrata Roy’s 73rd birthday on June 10. The official note reads: 'biopic on business tycoon Subrata Roy to be made. Makers to officially announce the film on Subrato Roy’s 73rd birthday, 10th June 2021'.

Previously, Netflix had released a show titled Bad Boy Billionaires, based on the rise and fall of India’s most infamous business tycoons like Mehul Choksi, Nirav Modi, Subrata Roy, Vijay Mallya who are accused in several money laundering cases.

Subrata Roy, an Indian conglomerate with diversified assets, was named among the 10 Most Powerful People of India in 2012.
