Bigg Boss 19: Kunickaa Sadanand calls Malti ‘lesbian’, viewers accuse her of using sexuality as an insult

Bigg Boss 19 is heading into its final leg, and the tension inside the house is now sharper than ever. With viewers trying to guess who will secure a place in the finale, the conversations among contestants have turned more pointed. The latest episode, however, took an uncomfortable turn when Kunickaa Sadanand made a remark about Malti Chahar that has now become the centre of online outrage.

The episode begins with Tanya Mittal discussing Malti’s behaviour with Kunickaa. Tanya says that Malti sometimes gives kisses on the cheek, hugs often, and shows friendly gestures that she finds confusing. Malti has already been in several arguments with both Tanya and Farrhana Bhatt over duties and communication gaps, which has kept the atmosphere tense.

As Tanya continues sharing her concerns, Kunickaa responds with a line that immediately shocks the room. She says, "notice karo Malti is lesbian". The comment lands heavily, and the moment quickly becomes one of the most-discussed scenes of the day.

Outside the house, the reaction has been immediate. Many viewers have taken strong objection to Kunickaa’s words, accusing her of using sexuality as a taunt. One user wrote, What a shameless allegations by Kunika ji to call Malti as ‘Lesbi@n’. Another comment read, Wtf did they even call Malti ‘Lesbian’? They are using this as a derogatory word. Are they even in their senses? NOT COOL CUNNING KUNICKAA. THIS SHOULD BE CALLED OUT ON WKV. A third user added, On what grounds did they even label #MaltiChahar a ‘lesbian’? They’re weaponizing the term as an insult, which is utterly senseless and disgraceful. #Kunicka conniving behaviour is beyond unacceptable.

Some viewers have also pointed out the irony. Earlier in the season, Malti had commented on Baseer Ali’s sexuality, saying she felt he was gay. She was criticised heavily for that remark. Because of this history, many are now waiting to see how Rohit Shetty will address Kunickaa’s comment on the upcoming Weekend Ka Vaar.

Amid all this, the house politics continue. Gaurav Khanna was named captain, only for Shehbaz Badesha to take over an hour later. Bigg Boss gave Gaurav a difficult choice: surrender captaincy to Shehbaz in exchange for full rations and no nominations, or keep the role and nominate the entire house with limited supplies. The decision added yet another layer of pressure as the finale approaches.
