Bigg Boss 15 contestant Karan Kundrra: I have a lot of patience, but there is no patience to nonsense

Bigg Boss 15 went on-air over the weekend and the contestants have made their way into the show now. With the first day in the house being one with loads of drama and fights already, fans are waiting to see what lies ahead for them. While every contestant has managed to create their own buzz, it was contestant Karan Kundrra whose confirmation for the show sent fans in an absolute frenzy.

India Forums got in touch with Karan as he spoke about saying yes to the show, how excited is he about Salman Khan has host, and more. Read the conversation here.

What went into saying yes, were you in two minds or was it a first go yes?

You've seen all these years how there has already been a reason for me to not do the show, and this time also it was no different that I am not sure if I can do the show, and I am not meant for this show or I have my own apprehensions regarding how things go about because of the show, and that was true after all. But what happened is when the meetings happened with the makers, there was another perspective from their side, about me, which I probably wasn't aware of, and talks started and I understood it and things fell into place. Eventually, I signed the show after all. I believe what is supposed to happen will happen.

What would you say is your patience level in general?

I have a lot of patience, but there is no patience to nonsense or bullshit, and that is what it has been. I have tried to control it a lot of times, but that never happened, and I don't think there is a need for controlling it as well. What is wrong, is wrong, I always stand by it. Otherwise, my patience for a loved one, I do have that.

One trait you dislike in people.

I don't like people who are opportunists, or selfish in such a way that go ahead, and pull themselves up, they push others down and show them down, I don't like such people.

What about household chores?

(laughs) Yes, I am sure, we will do it only and everyone will come together and do something. I have taken on such a huge challenge, so this also we will get through.

I think I have done so many shows I have understood that what happens in a situation where your emotions are at a high level and your adrenaline is on a high, you feel that this is love, but then you come out and you realise that because the situation was such and there was pressure, hence it happened, and then people say that you lied on the show. Bigg Boss has witnessed friendships, love, and a lot of other relations. Are you open to any such thing?

I think I have done so many shows I have understood that what happens in a situation where your emotions are at a high level and your adrenaline is on a high, you feel that this is love, but then you come out and you realise that because the situation was such and there was pressure, hence it happened, and then people say that you lied on the show. But it is not a lie, the situations are such, I have said that as well that in the pressure and situation that you are, that is your world at that time, but when you come out, you realise that reality is something else and this happens. I don't have the energy of going something like this, and I don't have time for this, but it all depends on the person, but I highly doubt.

You have been a host yourself so you know how crucial the role is. This time, you will have Salman Khan as the host and be on the other side. How excited are you?

However shows I have hosted, I have had an interpersonal relationship with my contestants, and it is a very special relationship. When you are inside the house, it is only Salman that you talk to from the outside world and you will have an interposal relationship with a person who you look up to and you like their attitude, it is very interesting for me. I am very excited about it.

How was the reaction of friends and and did you take any tips?

I spoke to everyone - Prince, Yuvika, Vikas, and everyone else. Everyone is really excited and the fun part is that there is one thing, that this 3-4 months are going to completely change your life, so be ready and be excited about that so that is true.
