Barun Sobti SPEAKS up on the low TRPs of 'Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon?'

Star Plus' much talked about show, Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon? hasn't been doing very well in the TRP game, and for various reasons, it failed to impress the audience like the first season.

While one of the primary reasons for the low TRPs can be told to be Sanaya Irani's absence, the show is rather slow paced and is taking its own sweet time to develop the base plot and the story.

We asked Barun Sobti aka Advay about the kind of feedback he's been getting, he said, "We've been getting a mixed feedback, but most of what we have heard, includes that it is getting better. And I guess, that's how it should be. Not everything should be revealed all at once."

Talking about the rather low TRPs, he said, "It's okay ya. I think we opened on a good TRP. It definitely wasn't what we expected, but we opened at good numbers. Usually, of what I've seen with Gul's shows, they get better with time."

"Because the characters have so many layers, it takes time for the unlayering otherwise you cannot justify if everything is shown within a day. So, I'm sure it is going to get better," he added.

You're right Advay's character may have layers and we will find it soon but about Chandni no one is interested to know the layers her character has.

poor barun i think this time he had selectd a bad project becz honestly overall ipk3 is not at all convincing.whole concept is bit annoyg.in my opinion shivani is quite struggling in order to put in with the show.Almost same expression for whole that episode is also bit noticable.
