‘Barrister Babu’ definitely had more life: Rishi Khurana on the show going off-air
It’s confirmed that Colors’ popular show ‘Barrister Babu’ will soon bid an adieu to the viewers. Vivan D’sena and Eisha Singh’s show ‘Sirf Tum’ to replace the show from November.

Ever since Vivan D’sena and Eisha Singh’s show ‘Sirf Tum’s trailer hit the television screens, there has been a speculation regarding which show will be axed. There was apparently a close call between Molkki and Barrister Babu. Well, finally the decision has been taken and the channel has decided to pull the plug off ‘Barrister Babu’.
The news has been quite difficult for the fans to digest as they already speculated the fate of the show. The current track is quite promising with makers bringing the double role twist as Pravisht Mishra (Anirudh) is seen portraying the baddie Batuk Roy Chaudhary in the show who is set to take the revenge from Bondita.
India Forums got in touch with actor Rishi Khurana who plays a prominent character of Trilochan Roy Chaudhary in the show. We asked Rishi about his reaction on learning about the show going off-air. He said, “I was definitely shocked after learning about such a promising show going off-air. Honestly, I feel the show had more life. Having said that I do believe that entertainment industry have its own rule book , and it says that there are no rules (smiles). I am very connected to the team and the characters so it's really sad and disappointing”.
‘Barrister Babu’ is said to telecast it’s last in the month on November paving way for Vivan and Eisha’s new show ‘Sirf Tum’ which is said to be inspired by Shahid Kapoor’s movie ‘Kabir Singh’.
‘Barrister Babu’ is produced by Shashi- Sumeet Productions and has a stellar star cast including actors like Anchal Sahu, Pravisht Mishra, Rishi Khurana, Pallavi Mukherjee, Sadiya Siddiqui among others.

I must say who so ever made decision of making BB off air must be not in senses.DO they not realize that this one of the most popular show among all shows . The story line theme is one attracted me and all others . In my family my mother also loves this show as much I do . It is lovely show .There are stupid shows with lesser TRP and stupid stories or no stories why the hell they do not put them off air instead of BB.To think of from which show they going to replace has ML who is past prime his age ( only show he looked young and nice was Pyarr ki Khani and may be Madhubala) and FL she is super average with no X factor in looks nor in talent no offence but true .But look at BB Beautiful story line very talenetd and young and good looking actors - Anchal is awesome in look wise and in talent and has X factor and so is Parvisht who is also very talented and young and good looking and all others in show are also equally good .This is only show I watch and needless to say I am all fans of BB are very disappointed and this wrong decision of channel ( Well colours has been always like this unprofessional and unpredictable )All fans of BB pls protest and get BB extension.

I am very VERY VERY upset. I normally don’t watch Indian tv shows and I don’t watch it for a reason, because they all SUCK. But barrister Babu was different. I’ve been so connected to this show. Honestly by taking this show off air, they are confirming one thing and that is that it’s not about the content, it’s all about money. So even if you make money off of crap they will showcase the audiences crap. These channels don’t care about the content, story line, social messages behind a story, the dedication of the entire team. BB is the only show that has stayed true to its theme till date. But look at other shows and the kind of shit they show. Like chotti sardarni, sasuarl simar ka. That’s it, this was the last time I watched an Indian show. No more Indian shows for me!!

The TRPs weren't that bad why are they ending the show ? Though I believe that the saas bahu drama and two villages fight ruined it but still better than some other shows of the channel. I would have loved to see Bondita and Anirudh changing a few things of the society. Seeing them work together would have been really nice.

It is ITV's rule...... Only bakwaas shows will run for years...also blame TRP aunties who loves watching those regressive shows. So it is not surprise to see Barrister Babu going off air. Will miss Barrister Babu....

I am so shocked with the news.... I have always loved this show so much... there is a special bond with it...I wish it could go longer but the truth is... that with Aura gone my interest with it also left... but with new team it was still working well.. its a mystery why they are putting it down...Its a very special show for me... and will always remain so...

I don't understand why a show which had a different story should be pulled off air? What's wrong with the television industry? A show which has a crap storyline will go on for years. There is so much potential in this show. Why should a new show replace Barrister Babu? Very disappointed 😞

Sirf tum though not fond of RS past shows still I want this show to be a hit become slot leader and one more milestone in Vivian's careerThough chances r very less plz dont show affair of married, female obsessive lover, after lead marrying misunderstanding causing either ml or fl want to marry another supporting character, no supernatural twist, kitchen politics, no long term separation thats it but simple youth romantic thriller
