Bappi Lahiri makes Revelation about Kanika Kapoor: The last song she sang was for me

Kanika Kapoor is all over the news after she confirmed that she has tested positive for Coronavirus. She underwent tests a few days after returning from London and took to her social media to inform her fans that she has been infected with the novel virus.

However, before the tests, Kanika had visited her home in Lucknow and was a part of a small family gathering. She had also attended Akbar Ahmad’s party with many political personalities in attendance. As per reports, the singer came in contact with 266 people, who have now been tested negative and are safe. 

Adding more details about her whereabouts, singer Bappi Lahiri reveals that before flying to London, Kanika had met him and recorded a song for him as well.  "Before flying off to London, the last song she sang was for me, for the film Pyaar Mein Thoda Twist” he informs. 

The Baby Doll singer has been receiving a lot of flak on social media for her irresponsible behaviour and allegedly putting people’s lives in danger by attending parties. Right from hiding travel details to hosting parties, a number of allegations were also imposed at the singer.

There were also reports of Kanika throwing tantrums at the hospital, where she has been kept in isolation. However, she refuted all the allegations and rather stated that she was being ill-treated by the authorities, with no proper food and medical care.

Speaking to Mumbai Mirror, Bappi Da asserted, “She is a well-behaved and educated girl. I hope she gets well soon.”

When asked if he has spoken to her since she confirmed testing positive for COVID-19, Bappi revealed he hasn't had the chance. He showed concern for his friends and singer Lady Gaga and Akon as well and said that he has no updates from them as well. "I haven’t had the chance to talk to them, but I hope they are doing well,” he revealed. 

The veteran music composer also revealed that he has written a song on Coronavirus and will be recording it in a few days. He added that he has a fully equipped studio at his home so he does not have to travel anywhere to record a song.
