Badi Amma is back on screen: Sara Ali Khan cheers for her dadi Sharmila Tagore as she returns to the screens

Sara Ali Khan is an actress who is quite active on social media and never misses an opportunity to show love to her loved ones via her adorable posts. In reality, her literary side and social media updates are a gift for followers. 

Now, the actress from Love Aaj Kal is making news for writing a sweet tribute to her grandma Sharmila Tagore. For the uninitiated, the renowned actress has announced her return to the big screen after a decade and will be seen with Manoj Bajpayee, Suraj Sharma, Amol Palekar, and Simran Bagga in Rahul Chittella's film Gulmohar.

Sara took to her Instagram account to share her joy at Sharmila Tagore's long-awaited return by posting a photo of Sharmila standing with the Gulmohar crew. Sara expressed her delight at Sharmila Tagor's return in the caption. 

She also expressed her confidence in Sharmila's ability to succeed onscreen. Sara wrote, 

“Badi Amma is back on screen. To watch her I’m truly keen. She will be the epitome of brilliance and grace I have yakeen”.

Meanwhile, Sara has finished filming with Vicky Kaushal in Laxman Utekar's yet-to-be-titled directorial. Vicky will be her first co-star in the film, and she is quite enthusiastic about it. 

Sara is now working on Pavan Kripalani's forthcoming film Gaslight, which also features Chitrangada Singh and Vikrant Massey. This will be Vikrant's first work with the Kedarnath actress.
