Baba Ramdev takes a dig at Deepika; Wishes to be her Adviser? Details Below

Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone’s visit at Jawaharlal Nehru University on January 5, 2020, has gobbled a lot of attention nationwide. It's evident she has been at the receiving end for standing with JNU students. While BJP leaders and supporters have decided to boycott her recent release Chhapaak; Yoga Guru Baba Ramdev has criticized her visit with a rather sarcastic comment.

Baba Ramdev opened on the same during a business-related visit in Indore. He said that the actress should take advice from him. He also asked the actress to improve her 'political and social understanding' and added how she needs an adviser like him.

Deepika has been a new target for the right-wing to launch their attacks and as Ramdev said, "should first study social, political and cultural issues and understand more about our country."

"After acquiring this knowledge, she should take big decisions," the yoga guru added. 

While many have lauded her for the brave stand and showing off courage, some saw this as another publicity stunt to promote her film.

"I feel that Deepika Padukone should have persons like Swami Ramdev for the right piece of advice," Baba Ramdev said.

During Padukone’s recent interaction with Aaj Tak TV about the violence, she said she was "very angry at what is happening but it is worse that no action is being taken".

The aftermath of Deepika’s visit at JNU has been hauled a lot of problems for her recent film and she has been attending several events, however, she has not yet talked about it. And now, with Ramdev’s criticism we wonder how she would react about the same.
