Ayushmann Khurrana reveals the reason behind his children not watching his films!

Ayushmann Khurrana has always impressed the audiences with his unique movie choices. But everyone will agree to the fact that not all age-groups can watch it. Currently, Ayushmann is busy promoting his upcoming movie Article 15. 

Directed by Anubhav Sinha, Article 15 is based on an article in the Constitution of India which states that there has to be no discrimination between people on the basis of caste, creed, religion or gender. The story is based on real incidents in which Ayushmann will be seen playing a cop.

Recently, in an interview with Times Now, Ayushmann opened up about how his kids, Virajveer Khurrana and Varushka Khurrana deal with his stardom. He also revealed that his children are young and don’t get his films completely, so, they don’t watch any of his films. He said,

They (his kids) have this sink link that I am an actor and they are proud of it but they don’t see my films because they don’t understand my films as of now, they are too young for that. But, I am sure in future they will be proud of my films. Being a young parent it becomes difficult for me because I am part of the young brigade of the contemporaries who are part of the new wave of Indian cinema and I have to do like good cinema and work hard towards it and right now we are just 24x7 working and shooting back to back films, it is difficult to strike that balance between professional and personal life.

Article 15 is facing a number of controversies due to the subject of the caste system. The Brahmin community mentioned that the film is anti-brahmin while the director Anubhav Sinha has been getting threat calls from organisations as per recent reports. 

Amidst this, the trailer has generated a lot of buzz among the youth who relate to the caste system subject. In the film, stars like Kumud Mishra, Isha Talwar, Zeeshan Ayyub and others will be seen. Article 15 is slated to release on June 28, 2019. 

On the work front, Ayushmann Khurrana will also be seen in Bala, Dream Girl and Shubh Mangal Zyaada Saavadhan.
